A mind like sieve - 1

Complete the conversation by putting the verbs in brackets into the infinitive or the -ing form.

Paul: Have you finished the shopping now?

Jane: Yes, I think so, but I must remember (buy) some cat litter.

Paul: I remember (pass) a pet shop a couple of streets back. I don't mind (run) back for you.

Jane: Just a minute. I can't find my purse. It isn't in my handbag.

John: Did you forget (bring) it? Of course you didn't, silly me. I remember (see) you take your purse out of your bag to pay for the groceries.

Jane: I blame myself for (be) so careless.

John: Just stop (worry) and think. You must have put it down somewhere and forgotten (pick) it up. Can´t you remember when you last had it?

Jane: I remember (have) it in the bank and then I stopped (buy) a magazine.

John: Why don't you look in your shopping bags? You might have put it there.

Jane: Oh, here it is. Funny, I can't remember (put) it there. I think I'll try (wear) it round my neck the next time.
